Cave ice microbiom: metabolic diversity and
activity in response to climate dynamics and anthropogenic pollution
Diversitatea şi activitatea metabolicǎ a microbiomului
peşterilor de gheaţǎ ca rǎspuns la schimbǎrile climatice şi poluarea

Ice samples were collected (a) from Viedma glacier cave at exposed and
remote locations, and (b) from the glacier border that forms an open cave.

ice samples of up to 700 years old were collected from 7 locations of
Svarthamar Ice Cave for microbiological analyses, 14 ice samples for 14C
dating, and 432 ice samples for isotope analyes.
